The confirmation letter will have specific instructions on hotel location, verification of your room choice and sleeping accommodations, and any other updated information relative to the seminar. The invoice will reflect the $10.00 registration fee and the $40.00 Texas State University Overhead Assessment for a total of $50.00*.
* Pursuant to the grant conditions, the registration fee is mandatory and is returned to the grant to be spent as restricted funds. The Texas State University Overhead Assessment is used for activity expenses that the Grant cannot cover, such as excess meal and break costs, salary supplements, etc. These unrestricted funds are deposited into the Texas State University account. Counties or individuals who cannot afford the Overhead Assessment may request a waiver. Proof of inability to pay may be requested.
Step 1. Go to the Training Center’s Website www.tjctc.org and click on the Online Registration — My
TJCTC Home Page tab at the top of the page and login using your first name, last name and
county. You can access several options from “My TJCTC Home Page” including registration, printing
handouts and retrieving invoices.
Step 2. Click on Online Registration. Click on the Workshop you wish to attend. If it is red the workshop is
full.
Step 3. Select your room preference. Single/Share with Spouse, Double Occupancy, or no room needed.
Step 4. If you chose Double Occupancy, click on Select a Roommate and a drop-down menu will list
possible roommates. If your preferred roommate is not listed, they have not registered yet.
You may select “any” then go back to your Home page later and select their name.
Step 5. If you have any special needs, type them in the “special needs” box and we will make every effort
to have the hotel honor them. (This does not include smoking rooms.)
Step 6. Print your invoice immediately. Your invoice will reflect the registration fee and the Texas State
Overhead Assessment for a total of $50. Please arrange for payment to be made as soon as
Possible. Payment must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the workshop.

Confirmation Letter: A confirmation letter with specific information such as hotel location, parking,
verification of sleeping accommodations, will be emailed to you upon payment of your invoice.
Cancellation, “No-Show” and Refund Policies: Cancellations must be received no later than 2 weeks
prior to the workshop start date in order to receive a reimbursement of the registration fee/overhead
assessment. Persons who register and “No-Show” or do not cancel 2 weeks prior to the seminar start
date will not be eligible to a receive registration or overhead assessment refund.
Cancellations will not be accepted over the phone. You must cancel or change your reservation
ONLINE using the registration system. You can do this at www.tjctc.org by going to the “On-line
Registration” tab, logging in and clicking on “View and Edit Seminars”. Once the Training Center has
received the cancellation, it will be forwarded to the University for refund processing. Please allow 30
days after the University has received the refund request before expecting reimbursement.
As discussed on page 2 of the 20-Hour Catalog, due to budget cuts, the Training Center can no longer
print your class materials. You MUST print your class materials and bring them with you. There will be no
extra handouts when you arrive so if you do not bring your own, you will have no reference materials during
class. Class materials may not be available until 2 weeks prior to the workshop.
1. Go to our website (www.tjctc.org) and click “Online Registration - My TJCTC Home.” Log in.
2. Click “View Class Selections.” This will open a window that lists the workshops you chose or classes
you chose when you registered for a seminar.
3. Next to each workshop or class you will find a blue “Handouts” link. Clicking on this link will open the
handouts page for that class or workshop.
4. Download the file by clicking on the file name. You must have Adobe Reader to view and print your
handouts. If you do not have this software you can download it using the link at the top of the
page.
5. Print your handouts and pack them when you come to the workshop!
