Legislative Update Exams

Agenda
You do not need to be registered for the legislative update to take the exam. The exam will be given after the legislative update ends. The exam will start at 2:30 PM, we suggest arriving at 2:00 PM to sign in.
The civil and criminal exams will finish and be graded by 4:00 PM. The Master exam will be finished and graded by 5:00 PM.
Your registration will not include a hotel room. If you are attending the Legislative Update, you can request a room night through that registration. If you are not attending the legislative update or if you need a room night after the exam, that will be on your own. You will need to reach out to the hotel directly.

What are the exam rules?
- The exam is open book, but you can only use the materials TJCTC provides. (See FAQ below on materials for each exam.)
- You cannot use a cell phone, take pictures of the exam, or write down exam questions.
- You will be able to see your exam after it is graded. However, you cannot take it with you.

What can I bring to the exam?
The exam is open-book. We highly encourage you to bring a laptop or tablet to access the open book materials. You can print them. However, it will be several thousand pages and you will not be able to search.
TJCTC will provide a power source and wifi.
