Registration opens three times each year in non-legislative years and twice each year in legislative years. In FY27, exams will be offered in late fall, early spring, and early summer.
Registration dates will be posted on this page and announced through TJCTC eblasts. Registration will remain open for at least two weeks and closes when the testing period begins. Once registered, participants have 30 days to complete the exam.
How do I register for the Exam?

Step 1: Register to take the Exam
Registration links will appear here when registration is open.
Registration is currently closed.
Keep in mind: You must have a computer with microphone, camera, and Google Chrome browser. It can be a work or home computer.

Step 2: Receive an email with follow-up instructions
After we confirm that you are eligible to take the exam, you will receive an email from us with further instructions. Then, you can create an account in the exam software, test out your computer to make sure it's features will work, and either immediately take the exam or schedule for a date in the future. This email can take up to 3 days to receive.
We also have a guide outlining the steps to access Canvas, but you will not be able to log-on to Canvas until we add you to the exam which can take up to 3 business days.
