Coffee Talks are informal Zoom meet-ups where clerks can connect and discuss topics in a relaxed setting. New sessions will be offered throughout the year.

Court Personnel Certification Coffee Talk

Thinking about taking the Court Personnel Certification Exam? Join TJCTC staff and members of the Court Personnel Education Committee for an informal Q&A about the certification program and exam process.

This one-hour session is your chance to ask questions about exam registration, format, study resources, and what to expect. Please note that legal questions and exam content will not be discussed.

Clerk Community Coffee Talks

We're expanding opportunities for clerks to connect with one another through informal virtual discussions. These sessions focus on the people side of the profession—not legal advice.

Topics may include:

  • Self-care and avoiding burnout
  • Navigating difficult situations

Clerk Mentor Program

Looking for one-on-one support from an experienced clerk?

The TJCTC Clerk Mentor Program connects clerks with volunteer mentors from justice courts across Texas. Whether you're new to the job, transitioning into new responsibilities, or facing unfamiliar situations, a mentor can provide guidance, encouragement, and practical advice based on their experience.

Our mentors are experienced justice court clerks who volunteer their time to help others grow professionally and succeed in their roles.
