The Training Center is happy to unveil this new site for its 1,200+ Court Personnel around Texas. Here at the Training Center, we offer a variety of quality instructor-led educational opportunities using several different methods, which include online learning, multi-day seminars, and specialized workshops. There is also a Court Clerk Certification Program available to all court personnel for further professional development.
My name is Jennifer Morales and I am the Program Administrator for Court Personnel education and I'm excited to tell you about all of our training programs. Keep reading to get more information about your future education here at the Training Center or by using the links on the right.
In order to attend an event, attendees must be employed by a justice court and have a TJCTC profile. Create a new employee profile by submitting the New Employee Request Form.
Clerks are eligible to register for 16-hour seminars, 10-hour workshops, and webinars. Judges in a clerkless court may also attend Court Personnel Seminars by contacting our Registrar, Laura Villarreal, at email@example.com.
In an effort to go green, The Training Center does not provide handouts onsite at events. Presentation handouts for Court Personnel Seminars, Justice of the Peace Seminars, workshops, and webinars are available through your TJCTC profile. Any updated presentations will be posted within two weeks prior to the event. Be sure to bring your handouts for any session you plan on attending. Wifi is not provided in the meeting rooms.
Can’t find a handout? Please email our Registrar, Laura Villarreal, at firstname.lastname@example.org with the date and location of the event so she can get you to the right person.
