Extradition Hearings Module - Self-paced

Do you magistrate at the jail and reside in a county that borders another state? You are required to take the Extradition Hearings Module before completing any extradition hearings. (Counties that only border Mexico do not need to complete this requirement.)

Webinar: Emergency Detention Orders

This webinar will explain the procedures relating to an application for an Emergency Detention Order when a person shows a substantial and imminent risk of committing serious harm to themselves or others. In addition to reviewing the applicable legal standards for issuing an EDO, the webinar will discuss frequently recurring issues in light of the practical challenges currently raised in addressing mental health issues.
